Hali recorded four tackles (four solo) and a sack against the Broncos on Sunday.

Analysis: Hali and Justin Houston are the leaders of the linebacking corps following injuries to both of the starting inside linebackers, and Hali showed off his pass-rushing skills by getting to and sacking Peyton Manning, who is rarely taken down.

Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said Abraham did not pass his concussion test Tuesday.

Analysis: Though Abraham rejoined the Cardinals on Tuesday after briefly pondering retirement, it doesn't appear likely that he'll be sufficiently recovered from the concussion in time for Sunday's Week 3 tilt with the 49ers. The Cardinals will have a bye the week after, which could allow Abraham to return to action in Week 5, resulting in him missing just two games. Any return, however, will be contingent on Abraham ultimately passing all concussion tests. It's certainly not a given with the 36-year-old complaining of memory loss after his most recent head injury.

Avery had three catches for 14 yards against the Broncos on Sunday.

Analysis: Avery is back to his number two role in Kansas City behind Dwayne Bowe, and will likely see limited production in a run-heavy offense. With Travis Kelce and Anthony Fasano also being used in the passing game, Avery will likely see limited targets going forward.

Despite the NFL's revision of its drug policy Tuesday night, Jones will not be among the players immediately reinstated from his four-game suspension, Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post reports.

Analysis: Since the exact parameters of the new policy have not been formally announced, it's not yet known why Jones (nor teammate Dion Jordan) isn't eligible for immediate reinstatement, unlike other players around the league. With Jones out until the Week 6 tilt with the Packers, the Dolphins will continue to trot out Jimmy Wilson as their starting free safety.

Despite the NFL's revision of its drug policy Tuesday night, Jordan will not be among the players immediately reinstated from his four-game suspension, Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post reports.

Analysis: Since the exact parameters of the new policy have not been formally announced, it's not yet known why Jordan (nor teammate Reshad Jones) isn't eligible for immediate reinstatement, unlike some other players around the league. The Dolphins will continue to prepare for Sunday's game against the Chiefs with Derrick Shelby and Terrence Fede as their top backups at defensive end.
