    • Winn finished the 2014 regular season...

Winn finished the 2014 regular season with 19 carries for 73 yards in 12 games.

Analysis: Winn had 11 carries for 48 yards in a Week 5 loss to Buffalo, but he was quiet for the rest of the season. Reggie Bush may be a cap casualty for the Lions, but Joique Bell (knee/Achilles) and Theo Riddick are still under contract. Winn will likely have to compete for a roster spot in 2015.

Ross caught 24-of-36 targets for 314 yards and a touchdown in 16 games during the 2014 season.

Analysis: Working as Detroit's No. 3 wide receiver for most of the year, Ross posted numbers that were similar to Corey Fuller's, even though Fuller was fourth on the depth chart. Both players figure to be back with Detroit in 2015, as Fuller is still under contract, while Ross is an exclusive-rights free agent.

    • Pettigrew caught 10-of-15 targets for 70...

Pettigrew caught 10-of-15 targets for 70 yards in 14 games during the 2014 regular season.

Analysis: Even though injuries limited Joseph Fauria to seven appearances, Pettigrew was unable to make an impact in the passing game. Eric Ebron's 49 targets were easily tops among the team's tight ends, and while the rookie struggled throughout the season, he may handle a larger role in 2015. Pettigrew signed a four-year, $16 million contract before the 2014 season, but now that he's mostly just a blocking specialist, the Lions may consider releasing him. Of course, the Lions have always seen something in Pettigrew that isn't apparent to anyone else.

Orlovsky completed 4-of-7 passes for 51 yards during the 2014 season.

Analysis: Orlovsky saw a bit of action in a blowout loss to the Saints in December, but he otherwise spent the season watching Matthew Stafford from the sidelines. Next season, Orlovsky may not be back with the Lions, as he can become an unrestricted free agent in March, and Detroit always has a tight cap situation. Kellen Moore, the team's No. 3 quarterback in 2014, will be a restricted free agent.

    • Fuller caught 14-of-30 targets for 212...

Fuller caught 14-of-30 targets for 212 yards and a touchdown in 16 games during the 2014 seasons.

Analysis: The Lions mostly leaned on Calvin Johnson and Golden Tate, but both Fuller and Jeremy Ross got some opportunities, with Ross holding down the No. 3 job late in the season. Fuller is under contract for 2015, while Ross will be an exclusive-rights free agent, which means he'll likely be back with the Lions. Adding wideout depth probably isn't a big priority for the Lions, so Ross and Fuller may again compete for snaps behind Johnson and Tate.
